CHAPTER 1

James Starbright Time Travel Adventure Saga.

Scientists refer to it as the Xpoint!!!

They have long studied the earth's and sun's magnetic fields in secrecy. They believe the properties in-between to be a point of entrance to time travel. A worm hole they call the x-point opener.

In 1774 was a time before the Declaration of Independence was written. It was also a long before Mexico gave up California in 1847. A hundred years prior the mighty Spanish empire seemed unstoppable. Mother nature and the gods of the skies are a force much more powerful than man... and they have other plans.

During a planetary alignment on August 8th, an asteroid passes through the Xpoint. It collided with the earth’s atmosphere in an unorthodox arrangement. Before entrance, every twelve minutes it breaks into twelve pieces. It spun into a series of circles, creating a barrel shot vortex. The impact caused a series of earthquakes that raked the earth and flattened several mountains that the natives revered. The defying sounds hitched a ride, like a stretched rubber band to it fullest capacity. It momentarily augmented the lay lines, and pyramids around the world. It departed from the abiotic earth, like a key to a lock. A short time later, the Xpoint bounced into the atmosphere, igniting a fury of lightning storms.

The time was twenty four minutes after midnight. The surge roared for days, traveling at a high speed within the clouds.

At about thirty five miles from the city of San Diego in the backwoods of Pine Valley, a clean shaven young and slender man by the name of Tomas is set to survey the land. Santander e Hijo, a well-known private company, recently hired him. On his second assignment while in the field, lightning struck him three times at the bottom of the trail. Tomas is elevated twelve feet above the ground, as if he were a bird taken flight for the first time.

The unfortunate event crippled his limbs, and paralyzes him… taken his consciousness under.

A wondering group from the Mopag Indian tribe came upon him and were amazed that he could survive such an event. They took it as a sign of the divine and they allowed him to live.

Days later Tomas awakes. He doesn't know where he is and it's dark all he see is the full moon, he gasped for air and frantically tries to stand.

Suddenly a bright light appears shining before him he sees familiar faces.

"I'm so happy you're going to be okay" his mother said.

"Where am I?" he said.

"Your in cousin Adams house"

"What... how did I get here?"

"Its a miracle, the natives found you and they brought you here," She cried.

"They carried you over a horse they stole from me last winter." Adam said.

"Why didn't they just leave me?"

"If they did we might not have found you on time." 

Tomas smiles feeling lucky and grateful to be alive. 

That following morning he laid in his bed recuperating, family and friends paid him a visit to wish him well. 

His mother, day after day, enters his room every morning with the same doctor, asking the same questions. 

He realizes he is repeating the same day... and it drives him mad and depressed.

Laying in his bed Tomas hears a knock on the door.

"No no not again" he declares, "I can't live like this!"

He mother and the doctor made their way upstairs but on this fifth sunny bright morning Tomas is ready for something new.

He hurried and crawled onto the floor, it took all of his strength so much energy he began to pour sweat from his brow and his face contoured with such strain the veins in his necked bulged while his eyes rolled to the back of his head but he continues and FINALLY he locked the door, and ignores all requests to unlock it.

He slumps in a chair next to the bed in despair, "I'm all alone" he said to himself.

Little that he knows, he is not the only one experiencing this phenomenon. A neighbor hears of his plight, and she herself has time traveled forty years into the future. She was able to head back by kissing
