When Your Writing Bores You... to Sleep!!!

When your writings bores you... if you write long enough it will happen sooner or later.

Some writers fear it is the on set to writers block and maybe it is; but never stick around to find out... Period!!!

Fuel up do other things. Then revisit your writing every few hours...  if you still feel the same way, its time to take a look at yourself.

Only you can answer why you are bored.

Once you have identify the issue, you need to make sure to stay away from any of the triggers points. For me it tends to be long dialogs or narrations, and a subplot that seems to be taking longer then expected to complete, or a scene needs added details to which I could care less to flesh out.

The worse thing to do is grit through it or take the punches... be smart dodge it like the late great fighter Mohammad Ali.

Most of the time I revisit my trigger points at another time... you see writing should be enjoyable while going through the process of creating it... no one said it must be perfect at the end of the day.

What matters is; before you hit your head to the pillow case you had fun writing your novel... or at the very least have kept your eyes open long enough to have written something of merit and worthy.

This is a form of Self Fueling technic I use all the time... feel free to use it as you wish.

Good Luck
